q!Roier’s history with love is very different from his husband’s, he had already fallen in love before so he was able to recognize that feeling, but there was one that he had not experienced: to be reciprocated.
Before the arrival of the Brazilians to the island, Roier had already gone through the betrayal of q!Spreen, the estrangement of q!Quackity and q!Missa and even q!ElMariana had already begun to withdraw as a victim of his own mourning for his daughter. So q!Roier spent most of his time alone with his son, Bobby.
In that scenario q!Roier, who was always of a flirtatious nature, took his flirtations with the other islanders completely lightly, more with the intention of annoying them or making them nervous than with the intention of actually being reciprocated, as if he had unconsciously convinced himself that such a thing would not happen so what difference did it make if he was just having a little fun.
But then q!Cellbit came along and turned the tables on him.
While q!Roier always thought q!Cellbit was handsome, he surprisingly didn’t jump into flirting with him like he did with the other guys, at least not until he was certain that q!Cellbit found him attractive too, then he felt confident to take every chance he could.
For the first time he wanted to take things with a different rhythm, he did not want to ruin it, he was looking for a certainty and he harvested the illusion of finally being reciprocated. That certainty led him to give q!Cellbit his trust without any condition “I know you would never hurt me” he told him once, that trust took him to keep his secret jealously, limiting himself to defend him from the rest of the members of the order when they saw him as a traitor, and then offer him everything in his hands, and everything q!Cellbit wanted to receive from him, even if then it was only his friendship.
Because that “friendship” didn’t mean that it drew a line between the both of them, it meant that he would be willing to wait for him for the time that was necessary, time that q!Cellbit himself had asked for, in order to move forward to that which they both already felt but at the moment couldn’t put a name to it.
I found it very interesting that q!Cellbit openly confessed that he fell in love with q!Roier from the first time he saw him because I think that nowadays he can say it being 100% sure of that but, watching a bit of his first days on the island I realized that, while you can confirm that he is telling the truth, you can also see that at the beginning he didn’t know how to identify exactly what q!Roier caused in him. And, let’s see, it’s totally normal, q!Cellbit previously only knew hostility, he came from a place where he was feared but not admired, where he trusted no one and no one trusted him.
It’s just that I can imagine q!Cellbit looking at !Roier’s energetic smile like a fool and not being able to define it any other way in his head as a “I’m never going to forget that smile” because he had a crush on someone but he had no idea what “having a crush” was to begin in the first place.
And then you confirm that there was indeed a genuine interest on q!Cellbit’s part from the beginning: he was able to distinguish q!Roier from all the other islanders, he even acknowledged that he liked him and laughing out loud at q!Roier’s antics was always easy for q!Cellbit but you can also notice how he was initially wary of him for more serious topics such as the enigmas surrounding the island.
He didn’t know his true intentions and was apprehensive when q!Maximus started sharing with him everything related to The Theory Bros. And, it seems to me something SO congruent with q!Cellbit as a character that seeing how little by little q!Roier is gaining his trust, through sincere and solid actions, to the point that he is the only member of the order to whom he is incapable of lying to and that, on the contrary, he tells him in all sincerity all his plans to infiltrate the federation with the certainty that he is not going to rat him out, is simply art.
From the first “crush” was born an interest from which, after forming a friendship and with mutual flirting, came an unconditional support that helped q!Cellbit finally realize what it was that he saw in q!Roier that he had not known before: to love and be loved.
I love that during the interview, after qroier shows up, qmax makes the comment about how him and qcellbit are an absolute hurricane/tornado and he shold have interviewed them separately… as if… you know. As if qroier really had been invited AT ALL and not just crashed the show and stayed there ‘till the end lmaoooo

Roier is the prince of spiders! His grandpa is still in throne, although he heavily wishes he was the prince instead.
Roier: “Handsome” ah, look how he treats me in-character. In-character he calls me handsome, but outside of the role he says, “Hey, you stupid fcking idiot, bastard idiot, look at my Sims stickers.” That’s how he talks to me. 😔
qjaiden and qroier fans always win (ride or die semi-canon qpr treated with just as much importance as a romantic relationship by characters both in it and outside of it) but also always lose (they’re like never on screen together outside of relatively short periods of time ever since. That One Thing Happened)

worrying, to be honest.
I genuinely don’t think this man is ready for those news yet, at all. He is still very clearly grieving, and I don’t think knowing that his child could still be here is going to help.
As much as I know it’s the best option for everyone, I don’t want him to learn about that. I don’t want him to know. I don’t want to see the hurt he’ll go through. He does not deserve that.
… Unless that ill mean he fights the federation to get her back. But I doubt that. Unless Gegg says so.
